Kate Lane:
Co--owner of Swaddled Sprout. She leads the New Mother's Support Group, Cloth Diapering Class.
After the birth and infancy of my first baby didn't go according to plan I submerged myself in everything pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding related in hope to have a different experience the second time around. Armed with ample knowledge, confidence in myself and my body and a strong support system, the birth of my daughter radically changed my life. Having adequate support and ample resources for your transition into motherhood is essential and together with my friend, Chelle, we started The Swaddled Sprout to help you and your baby thrive.
Chelle Roman: Certified Lactation Educator, DONA International Trained Postpartum Doula, and mother of two. Prior to having children, I was a full time nanny for many years. I thought I had it all figured out and assumed motherhood would be a breeze! Things were definitely more difficult than I imagined after the birth of my first son and I decided to dive into the world of pregnancy, birth, babies, and breastfeeding. I am passionate about parenthood and became a Certified Lactation Educator and DONA International trained postpartum doula. I started The Swaddled Sprout, with Kate Lane, to provide parents with an easy to access resource for everything from pregnancy and beyond. I use my education and my skills gained as a mother of two to help new families adjust to parenthood and navigate the crazy (and amazing) new life of babyhood with ease.
