Children explore yoga in a fun and supportive environment. This class combines yoga, dance, music, games, and crafts to help children develop body awareness, strength,coordination, focus, and the ability to relax, all while having a great time!
“I have been practicing yoga for over 10 years. I completed my 200 hour training in Hatha yoga at A Gentle Way yoga studio in La Mesa, CA. With a background in occupational therapy, I enjoy assisting people of all ages, sizes, and abilities to discover the joys of yoga and find relief from pain, stress, and disease. After assisting and observing many Toddler and Family yoga classes, in October of 2011 I had the opportunity to complete a Kids Yoga Training at It’s Yoga Kids. Since then I have really enjoyed bringing yoga to kids and their parents and rediscovering the playfulness, joy, and creativity within all of us. I am very thankful for the opportunity I have been given in sharing yoga with others, and I look forward to meeting everyone!"
